Muffy (フリル, Furiru?, Frill), a resident of the Jeffrey Holmes series, is a sisterly sheep villager. Her name may be a reference to earmuffs, which are often made of wool, or perhaps because of the headband she wears to make her horns look like earmuffs. Her initial phrase and picture quote are references to her own woolly hue.
“Japanese initial phrase, おつかれ (otsukare?), comes from おつかれさまでした (otsukaresamadeshita?). Both phrases mean ‘good job’, although the latter is more formal.”
APPEARANCE
Muffy is a black sheep with purple striped horns. She has wide, bright cyan eyes with big black pupils and conspicuous eyelashes. She appears to be wearing pink blush and black lipstick. She initially houses the Natty Shirt as a scarf, as do sheep their garments as sashes, and carries a Zebra Umbrella when it rains. In New Horizons she initially wore a purple Ruffled dress.
Her design might be based on the gothic lolita fashion subculture. The rectangle headdress she wears has come to be synonymous with decades of the style.
Muffy is the friendly neighboring villager. If you make friends with her, she will give you fighting tactics and show you ways to relax.
Muffy will also provide the afflicted player veterinarian treatment. Like her sisterly village neighbors, Muffy is tough, but she will still hold with care over her wellness. Muffy has a tendency to stay out very late. It is easy to obtain her picture since making friends with sisterly villagers is a piece of cake due to her nice and caring nature, occasionally talking to them as her personality is understanding and gentle.Muffy may ease the tension with jovial and lazy villagers who enjoy relaxing and typical villagers for how lazy and quiet they are, but conflict with smug and snobbish villagers due to their elitist attitude. Then again, Muffy may develop friendships with cranky villagers thanks to their similarly dormitive personalities.
HOUSE
In New Leaf, Muffy’s house is very elegant, thanks to its Rococo-related furniture and accessories as well as a couple of K K Sonata dolls, a Pink Velvet Stool, and a phonograph. As well as its Rococo design, she’s got a Plush Couch, a Plush Cotton Throw, and a Plush Blanket. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have anything Stylish inside her house. However, she has a Sleek Carpet and a Sleek Wall. Her design is Georgian-inspired.
At home in New Horizons, Muffy’s house has a more mysterious, gothic vibe, with many of her pieces being dark and near purple. At the top of the antique bed in her room, she’s hung a curtain of matching purple swag and black lace, and to her right is a platform of purple shiny bow and purple lace-up dress. Muffy also has a stained glass writing desk in the northeast corner of her house.
Her wardrobe and basement contain a black sewing machine and black old sewing machine, respectively. Additionally, she has a black walnut worktable to the left of the entrance door, as well as a wooden stool and revolving wheel. At the bottom of the living room, there is a dresser with an ironboard and a butter-yellow towel basket.
