If you see any white or greenish crystals forming on your kief, remove them right away. Those are signs of potential mold growing, and any kief should be avoided or discarded to avoid consuming it. If you see something white or green on your kief, make sure it’s not mold.
Does kief go bad? No! While stored properly, it will remain usable for a long time. If only an item was stored properly, it would stay as useful as it is now for a very long time.
Does putrefaction occur? No, it does not. The atmosphere, temperature, and moisture do not directly impact exactly how long it keeps its potency, so you should store it in the appropriate fashion.
